NON-US CUSTOMER SHIPPING INFORMATION:

The shipping cost shown on your sales slip is an estimate.  You will always be charged only the cost of the actual USPS discounted postage. Our web site does not know when to use USPS Flat Rate boxes. For some international orders, the shipping cost shown for your order will be too high.  We check the postage for all international orders by hand and correct the cost when necessary. In addition, we have the option to use other international carriers such as Global Post, UPS or FedEx. Wholesale pattern orders will be charged the actual shipping cost, not the usually overestimated initial quote.

For international orders via USPS, we can fit up to about 12 yards of quilting-weight fabric (not including 108" Backing or Design Wall Flannel) into the US Postal Service Priority Mail International Padded Flat Rate Envelopes. This envelope costs from $38.89 to $48.53 for all countries except Canada which costs $29.66. The website calculates the postage for these envelopes correctly in most cases.

If your order fits in a Flat-Rate Padded Envelope, the charges shown on your sales slip will be too high and we will reduce the charge to the flat rate by hand. We may also ship your package via Global Post, which will be delivered by your local post office. If your order is too large to fit into a Flat-Rate Padded Envelope, it's likely that delivery by Global Post will be cheaper than the initial quote and we will reduce your final invoice.

If you want us to split your order into smaller packages to save on shipping, please put that request on your order form.

In addition to the price of the fabric and the cost of the postage, you may have to pay additional import duties or taxes, and other fees, when you receive your order.

Orders to the UK are required to be a minimum of $200 USD exclusive of shipping charges due to new UK tax regulations. We apologize for the inconvenience!

International orders via UPS or FedEx arrive in about a week. USPS packages usually arrive within two to three weeks. Occasionally, they take much longer.  We believe this is because of Customs Service delays in the destination country.  You must allow up to six weeks for delivery before we will consider an order lost and replace it.  Fortunately, this happens very, very rarely.

If your order is returned to us because the address is incorrect or you refused it, declined to pay the import duties, or failed to pick it up from your post office, we will refund the purchase price of the fabric but not the postage cost.
